Our 6-Stage Export Process
Every stage is documented. EU, US, and GCC buyers can request full batch traceability at any point in the chain.
1. Contracted Farm Sourcing — Punjab & Sindh
We source directly from contracted farms within Pakistan’s NOEP-enrolled cultivation zones. No synthetic pesticides or ethylene oxide fumigation used. Fields are inspected pre-harvest. Only white sesame varieties are accepted — no black or mixed-variety batches.
2. Primary Cleaning — Destoning & Winnowing
Raw seed passes through multi-stage mechanical cleaning: destoning, gravity separation, and wind sifting to remove foreign matter, dust, soil, and undersized seed. Output: clean natural sesame with ≤1% foreign matter before grading.
3. Sortex Colour Grading
Every batch passes through optical colour-sorting (sortex) — removing off-colour, discoloured, or contaminated seeds. This is the critical step that differentiates export-grade from local-market sesame. Output purity: ≥99% machine-cleaned, ≥99.95% hulled sortex grade.
4. Mechanical Hulling (Hulled Grade Only)
For hulled sesame seeds, the outer coat is removed purely by mechanical friction — no sodium hydroxide, no chemical soaking. Natural-label compliant. Post-hulling drying brings moisture to ≤5%. A second sortex pass ensures uniform off-white colour.
5. Detection & Pre-Shipment Lab Testing
Every batch passes inline metal detection before packaging. Samples are dispatched to an accredited laboratory for full pre-shipment testing: Salmonella (absent/25g, n=5), E.coli, aflatoxins (B1+Total), ethylene oxide residues, multi-residue pesticide panel, heavy metals, moisture, purity, FFA, and oil content. No container is loaded before receiving clean results.
6. Packaging, Documentation & FOB Karachi Shipment
Packed to buyer specification — 50kg PP bags, 25kg kraft bags, or bulk supersacks — with moisture-barrier inner lining heat-sealed before outer packaging. Full export documentation compiled and verified. Container sealed at facility. Shipped FOB Karachi with real-time tracking: vessel, BL, container number, ETA shared immediately on departure.
